As I was working on this, Peer remarked You’re trying to be very Messiaen with this piece.
It’s a fair cop, I suppose, although it didn’t help that he started playing l‘Echange while I was still sketching it out. He’s now playing Philip Glass, so let’s see what the next piece is like…!
